Serving as an extension of the MAK Center for Art and Architecture Los Angeles, the MAK Gallery hovers above five garage studios retained from an existing Schindler design. While the occupying artists in residence research and produce works at the ground level, the results of their efforts can be displayed in the newly cantilevered pavilion which opens onto the courtyard below.
