yimby_HAUS | affordable housing concept
As one small response to the crisis of affordable housing in Los Angeles, The YIMBY_HAUS seeks a modest alteration to one of the cities smallest land uses (the single family residential lot) in hopes of finding a small but scalable solution to increase housing density across the city. Tactical deployment of modularized “micro-units” can provide the minimal essentials for living for persons left behind by rising housing costs, and provide a scaffolding to integrate these populations back into our communities in a dignified and meaningful way.
